Delicate Arch stand alone on a slab of sandstone, with the La Sal Mountains in the background when the sky is clear. The approach walk passes through the bare rock before abruptly reaching the arch; at the end of the day, the warm light accentuates its isolated and fragile shape.

Landscape Arch
Landscape Arch Impressive by its extremely fine sandstone ribbon, stretched above the ground like a natural footbridge. The Devils Garden trail easily leads through sand, juniper and red blocks; the safety distance imposed around the arch reminds us that these shapes continue to evolve.

Double Arch
Double Arch It combines two large openings that start from the same sandstone massif, creating a cross vault visible as soon as you approach. Unlike other perched arches, this one is almost at the foot of the formation, with a sensation of very strong scale when you stand under the rock curves.

Balanced Rock
Balanced Rock has a huge block placed on a narrower base, almost unlikely silhouette on the edge of the park road. The short loop around it shows how erosion has dug the base, and sunset often removes the dark stone on a very clear sky.
