General presentation
Lacs de Braslaw
Dozens of glacial lakes, hills and islands form a nautical landscape near the Baltic borders.
To understand what Braslaw Lakes are, look at the Braslaw Lakes, Mount Maiak and Dryviaty Lake National Park. These places give us a territory marked by shores and lakes, forests and natural spaces and allow us to move from emblematic sites to more intimate stages.
See all
For a stay of 3 to 6 days, a quiet rhythm works well. Also to be anticipated: travel currently formally not recommended by France Diplomacy and formalities, access and conditions of visit to check before any project. A car is usually the easiest way to connect the different sectors. Accessibility varies from site to site and deserves to be verified step by step.

Places worth visiting
A selection to start dreaming and organizing the stay — not an exhaustive list of everything there is to see.

Nature park
Parc national des lacs de Braslaw
The park is home to more than 300 glacial lakes with very cut-out shapes; viewpoints, nautical routes and forests connect water with different characters.

Place indismissible
Mont Maïak
The Maiak hill offers the best view of the park mosaic: lakes, isthmuses, islands and villages appear as a relief shaped by the retreat of glaciers.

Lake
Lac Dryviaty
Dryviaty is the largest of the Braslaw Lakes and borders directly on the city; its bays, low islands and open shores allow navigation, swimming and bird watching.
