Forteresse de Brest
The fortress preserves barracks, impact-ridden doors and memorials of the siege of June 1941; its immense sculpture of Courage places the visitor at the heart of the Soviet story of the resistance.

Musée ferroviaire de Brest
Soviet steam locomotives and vehicles are lined up in the open air near the fortress, and they recall the role of Brest as a gap between European and former Soviet networks.
