For a stay of 4 to 9 days, it is better to balance visits and travel times. Also to be anticipated: conditions to be checked according to the season. A car is usually the easiest way to connect the different sectors. Accessibility varies from site to site and deserves to be verified step by step.

Nature and panorama
Many Glacier
Many Glacier is a group of some of the most alpine landscapes in the park: cold lakes, dense forests, prairies and high walls of the Lewis Range. Around Swiftcurrent Lake and Lake Sherburne, trails depart to waterfalls, glaciers and valleys where wildlife observation is often part of the day.

Going-to-the-Sun Road
Going-to-the-Sun Road crosses Glacier National Park by chaining lakes, forests, steep walls and hanging turns to Logan Pass. The road concentrates a spectacular part of the park: distant glaciers, waterfalls on the edge of the road, diving views of the valleys and stops where it quickly understands why the weather dictates the rhythm.

Lake
Lake McDonald
Lake McDonald occupies a long glacial valley west of Glacier National Park, with a dark or turquoise water depending on the sky. The colourful pebbles of the banks, boathouses and mountains that close the horizon make it a particularly photogenic place in the morning, when the surface remains calm.

Nature and panorama
Logan Pass
Logan Pass marks the high point of Going-to-the-Sun Road, on the continental water divide. Alpine meadows, late snowfalls and views of ridges attract hikers and photographers; in season, the area is discovered early, before parking and trails fill up.
