Kangding, a Kham carrefour, connects markets, monasteries and high valleys on the ancient road of tea and horses.
To understand what Kangding is, you must look to the side of Mount Paoma, the ancient center of Kangding and Lake Mugeculo. These places give us a view of a territory marked by urban life, mountain reliefs and heritage and allow us to move from emblematic sites to more intimate stages.

Also to be anticipated: temporary restrictions may affect Ganzi districts and Tibetan areas of Sichuan and confirm access to authorities or local agency prior to any reservation. Mont Paoma
The mountain that dominates the centre is linked to the popular traditions of Kangding and offers a first look at the valley. Distances, weather and access conditions must be checked prior to departure; water, suitable clothing and hourly margin remain useful, even during the most favorable season.

Centre ancien de Kangding
Shopping streets, central squares and neighborhoods on the edge of the Zheduo occupy a particularly narrow valley bottom. An early visit allows you to better observe local usages and the details of the place, while avoiding some of the groups and traffic.
Lake
Lac Mugecuo
A glacial lake, hot springs and forests occupy a high valley northwest of Kangding. Season, wind and water level greatly alter the experience; fragile banks and any local restrictions must also be respected.
