World Heritage
Vlkolínec
Vlkolínec conserves a compact set of painted wooden houses, placed on the slopes of central Slovakia. Roofs, barns, bell tower and grassy paths give a very concrete picture of a traditional mountain village, still fragile in view of the use and winter conditions.
Mountain
Chopok et Jasná
Chopok et Jasná give the most obvious access to the ridges of the Basses Tatras, hiking or skiing depending on the season. The climbs make the panoramas fairly accessible, but the weather quickly changes the experience.
Cave
Caves of Demänová
The caves of Demänová add an underground reading of the massif, between concretions, galleries and constant freshness. They work very well as an alternative when the peaks are blocked or to balance a day of walking.
Lake
Liptovská Mara
Liptovská Mara Opens a wide breath in the middle of Liptov reliefs, with a water table lined with villages, beaches and views. After hiking in the low Tatras, the lake brings swimming, boating and sunsets on the mountains, especially in the summer.
