A foggy mountain, historic villas and the banks of Yangzi make up an ancient summer refuge in northern Jiangxi.
Lu, Guling Bourg and Sandiequan Cascade give the most telling landmarks of Lushan and Jiujiang. Together, they form a destination where urban life, mountain reliefs, forests and heritage meet, with atmospheres that change over the course of the stages rather than just one uniform decor.

For a stay of 2 to 5 days, it is better to balance visits and travel times. Also to be anticipated: conditions to be checked according to the season. A car is usually the easiest way to connect the different sectors. The main sites are generally easy to access.

Place indismissible
Mont Lu
Falaises, waterfalls and gazebos dominate Lake Poyang and the Yangzi Valley. Distances, weather and access conditions must be checked prior to departure; water, adapted footwear and time margins remain useful outside the cities.

Guling town
Villas, sloping streets and gardens recall the development of an international climate station. An early-in-the-day visit allows you to better observe local usages and the details of the place, while avoiding some of the groups and traffic.
Waterfall
Sandiequan Cascade
A three-level fall descends a wooded wall on the eastern slope of the massif. The season, wind and water level greatly alter the experience; we must also respect the fragile banks and any local restrictions.
Museum
Musée de Jiujiang
The collections place the Yangzi harbour and the Lu mountain in regional history. The collections and remains take time to exceed a mere photographic stop; a visit helps to understand their regional historical context.
