General presentation
Miami et Miami Beach
Tropical metropole d'art déco, beaches, Latin Quarters, museums, bay and night energy.
To understand what Miami and Miami Beach are, you need to look at South Beach, Ocean Drive and Wynwood Walls. These places give us a view of a territory marked by the big city, urban life and the coast and allow us to move from emblematic sites to more intimate stages.

For a stay of 3 to 6 days, it is better to balance visits and travel times. Also to be anticipated: humid heat and variable prices. The trip can be organised without a car if the drop point and local connections are selected in advance. The main sites are generally easy to access.

Places worth visiting
A selection to start dreaming and organizing the stay — not an exhaustive list of everything there is to see.

Urban beach
South Beach
South Beach offers a clear picture of Miami: dense coastal front, bright colours of beach surveillance and immediate urbanity in contact with sand. By alternating water, walking and streets of the bay, one sees a very built version of the coast, very efficient if one accepts the continuous energy. It is the most vivid post card in the region.

Art Deco architecture
Ocean Drive Historic District
Ocean Drive concentrates the Art Deco facades in a very strong visual material, supported by night lights and terraces. Walking around the neighborhood, the city becomes almost a scene, where architecture structures both the atmosphere and the activity surrounding it. The transition between day and night is spectacular.

Urban art
Wynwood Walls
Wynwood Walls focuses large frescoes on the walls of former warehouses, in a Miami neighborhood that became a laboratory of urban art. The works play on colors, lettering, portraits and political messages, with a very different energy from South Beach. The place changes regularly, giving the visit a share of surprise.

Neighbourhood
Little Havana
Little Havana lives in voices, Cuban cafes, lively street and neighborhood frescoes. The challenge is not to tick a "ethnic sector", but to feel the daily texture of a Latin Miami, with its domino games, its sounds and street rhythms. It's the passage that's forced to seize the city otherwise.
