Rusnė lives at the pace of the arms of the Nemunas, dikes, floodplains and fishing villages. The island discovers itself more slowly, looking at the canals, birds and houses adapted to the floods rather than looking for a unique center.

At Cape Ventė, the Courlande lagoon concentrates bird migrations and justifies the presence of the bird station. Banding nets, lighthouse, reeds and low horizon make up a place very sensitive to the wind, especially in spring and autumn.

Village de Minija
In Minija, the houses line up on both sides of the river, which takes place from the main axis. Barques, pontoons and gardens give the village a rare organization in Lithuania, more oriented towards water than towards the road and intimately linked to the landscapes of the Niemen delta.
