For a stay of 2 to 5 days, a quiet rhythm works well. Also to be anticipated: conditions to be checked according to the season. A car is usually the easiest way to connect different sectors. Accessibility varies from site to site and deserves to be checked step by step.

Cactus Forest Drive
Cactus Forest Drive snake in the eastern part of Saguaro National Park, in the middle of a surprisingly dense saguaros forest. The loop gives access to several stops and short trails, with the Rincon Mountains in the background and a very graphic light on the cactus in the late afternoon.

Place indismissible
Signal Hill
Signal Hill first attracts by its rocks covered with petroglyphs, engraved on a small height of the western sector of Saguaro National Park The short road to the blocks also offers an open view of the cactus and the Tucson Mountains, in a dry setting where each stone seems to hold the heat.

Place indismissible
Mica View Loop
Mica View Loop crosses an accessible and bright part of the Rincon district, with many saguaros, chollas and clear views to the mountains. The relatively soft terrain is suitable for a quiet exit, especially in the spring when desert flowers add yellow, red or violet touches to the stony ground.

Nature and panorama
Valley View Overlook Trail
Valley View Overlook Trail is a short western sector trail that leads to a natural balcony on the Avra valley and the silhouettes of saguaros. The walk remains moderate, but the finish gives a clear impression of space, especially beautiful when the sun descends behind the Tucson Mountains.
