Small provincial capital, extinct volcano and large lake make up a complete stage of the mountainous centre.
Volcan Khorgo, Lake Terkhiin Tsagaan and Arkhangai Museum give the most telling landmarks of Tsetserleg, Khorgo and Lake Terkhiin Tsagaan. World Heritage
Monuments des pierres à cerfs et sites associés de l’âge du bronze
On the slopes of the Khangai, the deer stones lay their silhouettes engraved in the steppes of central Mongolia. Stylized cerfs, weapons, belts and ritual motifs appear on these steles associated with funeral terres and altars, in an open landscape where each monument seems to keep the memory of the bronze age ceremonies.

Place indismissible
Volcan Khorgo
The volcanic cone dominates lava flows, larchs and shores of Lake Blanc. The climb is short but steep, exposed to the wind and without protection in bad weather. A slow visit allows to go beyond the only points of view best known.

Lake
Lac Terkhiin Tsagaan
Lake Blanc extends behind ancient volcanic flows in a landscape of pastures. The shore tracks are slow and the camps remain seasonal. Light, wind and season greatly transform the landscape.

Museum
Musée de l'Arkhangai
Located in an ancient monastic complex, the museum presents the history and cultures of the province. It gives a useful depth before the long natural stages surrounding it. A slow visit allows you to go beyond the only points of view best known.
