Wuyi Mountains, Rivière aux Neuf Coudes and Pic Tianyou give the most telling landmarks of Wuyishan. Together, they form a destination where mountain reliefs, riverscapes, forests and heritage meet, with atmospheres that change over the stages rather than just one uniform decor.

World Heritage
Mont Wuyi
Mount Wuyi mixes red cliffs, river gorges with the Nine Coudes, subtropical forests and temples linked to neo-confucianism. The navigation on rafts, the paths between tea plantations and the vertical walls give the site a very physical presence, between Chinese littrated landscape and biodiversity refuge.

The Wuyi Mountains combine red peaks, subtropical forests and gorges covered by the river with the Neuf Coudes. The routes are regulated and distributed between shuttles, rafts and trails. The weather and the condition of the trails remain decisive.
River
Rivière aux Neuf Coudes
The river bypasses the large sandstone walls in the heart of the landscape area. The raft descent is very organized but gives a unique angle on cliffs and inscriptions. Tides, wind and season significantly alter the experience.

Pic Tianyou
Tianyou dominates several meanderings from a ridge accessible by a steep staircase. The heat and crowd make the climb more pleasant early in the morning. The weather and the condition of the trails remain decisive.
