Monastery
Monastère de Labrang
Labrang brings together colleges, temples and one of the longest routes of circumambulation. The place remains culturally sensitive and discovers itself with discretion, without hindering local practices; religious timetables, outfit and photographic rules are to be checked on site.
Nature and landscape
Prairie de Sangke
The pastures extend south of Xiahe between the rivers and hills of Amdo. Distances, weather and access conditions must be checked before departure; water, warm clothing and time range remain useful, even in summer.

Gongtang Chorten
The large gilded chörten opens a view of the roofs of the monastery and the valley. An early-day tour allows you to better observe the local usages and details of the place, while avoiding some of the groups and traffic.
