Green Mountain
Green Mountain slices with black flows and dry plains d-Ascension: its top is revegetated with a humid forest born of old plantations. The trails pass from bamboo to ferns, then open up views of the volcanic cones and Wideawake Airfield; the contrast tells the unique ecological history of the island.

Georgetown brings together port, St. Mary's Church, administrative buildings and a few streets on the west coast of Ascension.
