The waterfalls descend along the Chegem gorge walls. Flowing water against rock defines the scene; discharge and appearance change with the season and do not always match the photograph.

Eltyubyu Necropolis
Eltyubyu’s funerary buildings form a group within the valley terrain. Their forms and arrangement are a heritage subject to observe while respecting the site’s purpose.
Natural landscape
Cheguem Valley
The valley combines narrow rock walls, a river and openings towards the mountains. It places waterfalls and villages in one landscape rather than isolated stops without their mountain context.
