Bengbu and the Huai River
Huai River, lakescapes and neolithic archaeology structure this northern Anhui town.
Huai River in Bengbu, Longzi Lake and Bengbu Museum give the most telling landmarks of Bengbu and Huai River. Together, they form a destination where urban life, riverscapes, shores and lakes and heritage meet, with atmospheres that change over the course of the stages rather than just one uniform decor.

Huai River in Bengbu
The Huai crosses the city on one of the main hydrographic routes between northern and southern China. The season, wind and water level greatly alter the experience; we must also respect the fragile banks and the possible local restrictions.
湖
Lake Longzi
An urban lake lined with hills and walks opens the east of Bengbu. Season, wind and water level greatly alter the experience; fragile banks and any local restrictions must also be respected.
美術館
Bengbu Museum
The municipal collections present Shuangdun's Neolithic culture and the history of the Middle Huai. The collections and remains take time to go beyond a mere photographic stop; a visit helps to understand their regional historical context.

Parc Zhanggongshan
A hilly park, lake and high tower offer a walking space to the west of the centre. Distances, weather and access conditions must be checked before departure; water, adapted shoes and time limits remain useful outside the cities.
