Nature and landscape
Brandywine Falls
Brandywine Falls shows a natural staircase cascade between shale and sandstone, with a view that organizes itself in a few points of view. The short walk and the forest loop allow you to understand from several angles without major effort. The setting remains spectacular by its geological simplicity.
Place indismissible
Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad
The Cuyahoga Valley Scenenic Railroad runs through the National Park between Akron and the Cleveland approaches, at a slow pace of the river's rails and meanderings. From cars, woods, small stations, bridges and old industrial areas, this makes it a good option when weather or fatigue make hiking less tempting.
Place indismissible
Hale Farm and Village
Hale Farm and Village places a historic farm in the natural setting of the Cuyahoga valley, with buildings and objects that restore the gestures of the period. The place mixes rural history with living heritage, without falling into the reconstruction too school. It is a heritage pause well anchored in the landscape.
