For a stay of 3 to 5 days, it is better to balance visits and travel times. Also to be anticipated: marked relief and very frequented during the festivals. The trip can be organised without a car if the drop point and local connections are selected in advance. Accessibility varies from site to site and deserves to be checked step by step.

World Heritage

Le pont du Forth

4.8 / 5· Hidengo1 時間 30 分～2 時間 30 分

Le pont du Forth It imposes its red structure above the estuary, with its massive cantilevers and its rail traffic still active. From the banks or the train, one perceives the strength of its industrial design: each beam seems to show how the structure stands against the wind, water and loads.

Castle

Edinburgh Castle

4.8 / 5· Hidengo2.30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Edinburgh Castle dominates the city from its volcanic rock, with a military and political presence that structures the entire ancient center. The visit combines ramparts, courtyards, regimental museums and views of Edinburgh, particularly useful at the beginning of the stay to read the city from above.

Historical district

Royal Mile

4.6 / 5· Hidengo2 時間～半日

The Royal Mile The old town runs between the castle and Holyrood, with closes, high facades, shops, pubs and tight passages. It is better to regularly move away from the main axis to find the courtyards, stairs and views that give to the Édimbourg its special relief.

Hill

Arthur's Seat

4.7 / 5· Hidengo1.30 a.m. to 2.30 a.m.

Arthur's Seat brings a real escape of moor and rock to the heart of Edinburgh. The climb is stony in places, but it rewards the effort by a wide view of the city, the Firth of Forth and the surrounding hills.
