Ganzi
Monasteries, agricultural valley and open mountains make Ganzi an important cultural stage in the north of Kham.
Ganzi Monastery, Beri Monastery and Yalong Valley in Ganzi give Ganzi the most telling landmarks. Together, they form a destination where urban life, mountain reliefs, heritage and the countryside meet, with atmospheres that change over the stages rather than just one uniform decor.

For a stay of 2 to 5 days, it is better to balance visits and travel times. Also to be anticipated: temporary restrictions may affect Ganzi districts and Tibetan areas of Sichuan and confirm access to authorities or local agency prior to any reservation. A car is usually the easiest way to connect the different sectors. The main sites are generally easy to access.
