全体の紹介
Hoh Xil, Qinghai
Altitude lakes, arid chains and plateau fauna draw a protected territory with very framed accesses.
Hoh Xil, Hoh Xil Mountains and Hoh Xil Landscapes give the most telling landmarks of Hoh Xil of Qinghai. Together, they form a destination where mountain reliefs, shores and lakes and natural spaces meet, with atmospheres that change over the stages rather than just one uniform decor.

For a stay of 3 to 7 days, it is better to balance visits and travel times. Also to be anticipated: transport and openings to be confirmed and weather likely to modify the program. A car is usually the easiest way to connect the different sectors. Accessibility varies from site to site and deserves to be verified step by step.

Remarkable location
Hoh Xil
Hoh Xil is a high plateau of the Qinghai made of cold steppes, salty lakes, distant mountains and almost permanent wind. The place is best known for Tibetan antelope and its wildlife adapted to the altitude; access remains very controlled, in a harsh and sparsely inhabited environment.
Remarkable location
Mount Hoh Xil
The Hoh Xil Mountains close the horizon of the plateau by dry ridges, snowy according to the season, where the colors pass from brown to blue in a very hard light. They often look at each other from the distances allowed, as altitude, isolation and wildlife protection severely limit movement.
Remarkable location
Landscapes of the Hoh Xil
The landscapes of the Hoh Xil extend steppes of altitude, salty bowls and low mountains in an immensity almost without permanent habitat. Their discovery remains difficult and depends on the authorizations, the condition of the slopes and the very changing conditions of the Western Qinghai.
