Leavenworth
Bavarian village, river and access to mountains in the center of the state.
The discovery of Leavenworth revolves around Leavenworth, Icicle Creek and Enchantment Lakes. The stay thus alternates between mountain reliefs, urban life and natural spaces, which gives a concrete picture of the destination beyond its only best known site.

Place indismissible
Leavenworth
Leavenworth has transformed its centre into a Bavarian-inspired village, with painted facades, carved signs, breweries and Cascade mountains in the background. The set may seem theatrical, but it works well for a lively base between Icicle Creek hikes, winter sports and evenings around Front Street.
Place indismissible
Icicle Creek
Icicle Creek rises a clear and rocky valley since Leavenworth To the Alpine Lakes Wilderness. Along the road you can find access to the river, climbing walls, campsites and hiking departures, with cold water running between granite blocks and ponderosa pines.
Nature and scenery
Enchantment Lakes
The Enchantment Lakes form an alpine circus of transparent lakes, granite slabs, larchs and peaks like Dragontail Peak. Access is demanding and often subject to night permits, but prepared hikers find there one of the most mineral and luminous landscapes of the Cascades.
Nature and scenery
Waterfront Park
Waterfront Park follows the Wenatchee River a few steps from the centre of Leavenworth. Its footbridges and flat trails cross poplars, sand banks and calm arms of the river, offering an easy breath between two more ambitious hikes or a quiet walk after the lively streets of the village.
