Place
Medina de Rioseco
Medina de Rioseco The canal of Castille brings another reading of the place, more horizontal, between the quiet docks, warehouses and flat landscapes of Tierra de Campos. It is a place where the city of Castille is known as the admiral city, with its monumental churches, arcade streets and brick and stone facades.
Place
Urueña
Urueña opens with an immediate scale game: narrow streets, neat facades and clearly visible uses, making the day concrete from the first steps. The village is gaining to be observed slowly, especially at the secondary passages where the gestures of a heritage still lived appear.
Place
Villalón de Campos
Villalón de Campos presents a plain architecture that is sober and legible, ideal for understanding the structure of Tierra de Campos. It shows the geometry of squares and the relationship between public buildings and domestic quarters, a combination that speaks of a long historical continuity.
Place
Ampudia
Ampudia reveals itself by its roof lines and inflection of its streets, very revealing of an ancient fabric. A short visit can remain very satisfactory if it alternates main facade, side lanes and higher point of view to understand the local logic of implantation.
