Middle Rhine Valley
Iconic section of the Rhine, with castles, rocks, wine villages, boats and belvederes between Bingen and Koblenz.
To understand what Vallee of the Middle Rhine is, look at Lorelei, Bacharach and Rüdesheim am Rhein. These places give you a view of a territory marked by riverscapes, heritage, countryside and natural spaces and allow you to move from emblematic sites to more intimate stages.

For a stay of 2 to 5 days, it is better to balance visits and travel times. To anticipate also: very frequent and trains and boats to coordinate. The trip can be organised without a car if the drop point and local connections are selected in advance. Accessibility varies from site to site and deserves to be checked step by step.

訪れたい場所
夢を膨らませて滞在を計画するためのセレクションです。見どころをすべて網羅したリストではありません。
Place
Lorelei
The Lorelei dominates a narrow passage of the Middle Rhine, full of legends and spectacular views of the river. The site is better understood from the viewpoints, where the boats negotiate the curves between cliffs, vineyards and villages.
Place
Bacharach
Bacharach gathers medieval alleys, wooden houses, ramparts and vineyards in a very Rhine setting. The village gains to be travelled slowly, going up to the points of view that place the roofs and the church in the river valley.
Place
Rüdesheim am Rhein
Rüdesheim am Rhein blends wine tradition, lively docks and departures to the Niederwald heights. The city can be very frequented, but it remains a good gateway to the hillsides, tastings and panoramas on the middle Rhine.
Place
Marksburg
Marksburg stands out in the Rhine Valley for its remarkably preserved medieval fortress look. Its position above Braubach allows us to understand the control of the river, while the inside tour shows weapons, rooms and defensive devices with clarity.
