Rangeley Lakes
Maine's destination centered on deep forests, cold lakes and appalachian reliefs, useful for covering the interior nature of Maine.
Rangeley Lake, Height of Land and Saddleback Maine give the most telling marks of Rangeley Lakes. Together, they form a destination where the shores and lakes, mountain reliefs, forests and natural spaces meet, with atmospheres that change over the course of the stages rather than just one uniform decor.

For a stay of 3 to 6 days, it is better to balance visits and travel times. Also to be anticipated: seasonality to check and sometimes important distances. A car is usually the easiest way to connect the different sectors. Accessibility varies from site to site and deserves to be verified step by step.

Nature and landscape
Rangeley Lake
Rangeley Lake It is lit through its wooded banks and its discreet curves that extend the relief of the Maine mountains. Depending on the lighting, the water can be of an almost metallic blue or a milky green. Around, the villages are modest, and the kayak ride leaves time to distinguish each promontory.

Height of Land
Height of Land is a short but very dense high point, and is seen at a glance from Mooselookmeguntic Lake to the inner hills. The lookout is named after a clear opening sensation, without any orientation effort. In a few minutes, you move from a road map to an almost panoramic view.
Place indismissible
Saddleback Maine
Saddleback Maine In the summer, the slopes allow a wide walk to the lakes; in winter, the mountain changes its logic and imposes itself as a slide ground. The relief gives a strong visual depth around the station, with a different breath of the plain.
