Design, industrial heritage, pilat natural park, crets, villages and views of the Rhone.
To understand what Saint-Étienne and Pilat are, you must look at Cité du Design, Crét de la Perdrix and Villages du Pilat. 美術館
City of Design
The Cité du Design attracts its contemporary volumes laid out in a reinvented industrial setting: transparencys, tense lines, open paths. It is better to move from one room to another without haste, observing how light modulates materials. The place gives a creative breath when it is visited with attention to transitions.
山
Crêt de la Perdrix
The Crêt de la Perdrix offers a crossing between forests and distant views, ideal for a breathable walk rather than a simple climb. On the horizon, ridges change quickly and give a natural rhythm to walking. Frequent stops help capture the true geometry of the Pilat landscape.
村
Sainte-Croix-en-Jarez
Sainte-Croix-en-Jarez retains a concentrated and high village face, with narrow passages that highlight the materials of the period and the organization of the places. The place appreciates by following slow routes in the old center, then going up to the more clear points to read the surrounding relief.
