Sila
High wooded plateau of Calabria, between pine forests, lakes, altitude villages and mountain trails.
Sila National Park, Lake Arvo and Camigliatello Silano give the most telling landmarks of Sila. Together, they form a destination where mountain reliefs, forests, natural spaces and shores and lakes meet, with atmospheres that change over the course of the stages rather than just one uniform decor.

For a stay of 2 to 5 days, it is better to balance visits and travel times. Also to be anticipated: dispersal services and mountain weather. A car is usually the easiest way to connect different sectors. Accessibility varies from site to site and deserves to be checked step by step.

Nature
la Sila National Park
Sila National Park has an unexpected face on Calabria, made up of pine forests, fresh plateaus, lakes and high-altitude villages. Here, the experience is due to the smells of resin, the quiet slopes and the changes of light between clearings and undergrowth, far from the only maritime image of southern Italy.
Nature
Lake Arvo
Lake Arvo is integrated into a landscape of successive plans: shorelines, wooded slopes and openings to the inside. The walk is structured between close-up points and quieter areas, each area offering clean light. The feeling of distance quickly disappears when following the trails along the water.
Mountain village
Camigliatello Silano
Camigliatello Silano is one of the main villages of the Sila, surrounded by forests and close to the plateau trails. Its lively centre allows you to stop by before reaching the lakes, trails and undergrowths of the National Park. In winter, the snow gives it an atmosphere of unexpected little mountain resort in southern Italy.
