Philipsburg
Philipsburg stretches between Great Bay and the old salt pond, with an urban beach, shopping streets and traces of fortifications. The days of cruise change a lot the atmosphere; apart from the densest flows, the city lets see its seafront, low houses and port role better.

Maho Beach
Maho Beach owes its fame to the Princess Juliana Airport runway, located just behind the sand. The aircraft pass very low at landing, creating a spectacular scene but framed by real risks; barriers, panels and prohibited areas are an integral part of the visit.

Fort Amsterdam
Fort Amsterdam occupies a peninsula overlooking Great Bay, with remains of walls, cannons and wide views of Philipsburg. The site also houses a colony of brown pelicans, adding a natural dimension to the visit; observation requires to remain away from nesting areas.
