Thousand Islands
New York City destination centered on mountains, lakes, rivers and highly contrasting cities, useful to cover New York State outside Manhattan.
Boldt Castle, Thousand Islands and Wellesley Island State Park give the most telling landmarks of Thousand Islands. Together, they form a destination where riverscapes, island landscapes, natural spaces and heritage meet, with atmospheres that change over the course of the stages rather than just one uniform decor.

For a stay of 1 to 4 days, a quiet rhythm works well. Also to be anticipated: seasonality to check and sometimes important distances. A car is usually the easiest way to connect the different sectors. Accessibility varies from site to site and deserves to be verified step by step.

Boldt Castle
Boldt Castle It appears in the heart of the lake as a romantic construction staged by the water. Viewed from the boat, its silhouette dominates first; once on site, the architectural details tell the logic of a project that has not yet been completed. We quickly understand how the island becomes a narrative.
Nature and landscape
Thousand Islands
The archipelago of Thousand Islands is a puzzle of narrow waters, channels and forests that follow each other constantly. True logic comes by boat: villages, villas, rocks and islands follow each other in a reading that exists only in motion. Time seems suspended.
Nature and landscape
Wellesley Island State Park
Wellesley Island State Park offers a more terrestrial experience of the Thousand Islands, with rocky shores, intimate marshes and paths to observe variations of terrain on foot. The Nature Center helps understand the environments without having to stay on the deck of a boat. It is another possible pace of the archipelago.
