For a stay of 4 to 8 days, it is necessary to plan a fairly sustained day. Also to anticipate: some hikes are demanding. A car is usually the easiest way to connect different sectors. However, some sites require more walking, elevation or preparation.

山岳リゾート
Pralognan-la-Vanoise
Pralognan-la-Vanoise keeps a true mountain village temperament, with chalets, torrents and departures of trails to glaciers, passes and refuges. We come there to quickly move from the inhabited centre to the landscapes of the national park, while finding in the evening a simple atmosphere of alpine valley.
村
Bonneval-sur-Arc
Bonneval-sur-Arc retains a very authentic mountain resort character, where each alley serves as a visual corridor to the horizon. The village reveals its dynamics when you travel there without haste, from places of passage to secondary points of view. The rhythms of everyday life become the best introduction to the massif.
湖
Lac des Vaches
Lake des Vaches surprises by its passage of flat slabs laid in the water, at the foot of the Grande Casse. The hike crosses alpages and torrents before this very photogenic mineral crossing; it speaks especially to walkers ready to provide a real effort at altitude.
村
Termignon
Termignon offers a mountain atmosphere that is softer than expected, with a coherent village centre and a clear horizon. The secret is to let the paths gradually reveal the valley, then the nearby slopes. By observing local usages, one grasps the role of altitude in the rhythm of the place.
