Apresentação geral
Babruysk
Imperial fortress, merchant houses and Jewish memory remain on the Berezina.
To understand what Bobrouïsk is, you must look at the side of Bobrouïsk Fortress, Bobrouïsk Synagogue and beaver Monument. These places give us a view of a territory marked by urban life, riverscapes and heritage and allow us to move from emblematic sites to more intimate stages.
Ver tudo
For a stay of 1 to 3 days, a quiet rhythm works well. Also to be anticipated: travel currently formally not recommended by France Diplomacy and formalities, access and conditions of visit to check before any project. A car is usually the easiest way to connect the different sectors. The main sites are generally easy to access.

Culture and heritage
Bobrouïsk Fortress
The fortress was built by the Russian Empire before the campaign of 1812; bastions, barracks and ruined prisons still occupy a vast area on the edge of the Berezina.
Place indismissible
Synagogue de Bobrouïsk
Bobrouïsk was an important Jewish centre of life before the Shoah. The synagogues and ancient houses allow us to approach this history beyond military monuments.
Place indismissible
Monument to the beaver
The bronze beaver plays on the name of the city, derived from the Slavic word for the animal; this popular sculpture has become a smiling landmark of the merchant centre.
