To understand what Gongju and Buyeo are, you must look at Fortress Gongsanseong, Tomb of King Muryeong and Fortress Busosanseong. Gongsanseong follows a hill overlooking the Geum River at Gongju, with rebuilt walls, doors and pavilions. The round road alternates underwood and open views, giving a clear reading of the defensive role of the former capital of Baekje.
