The discovery of the Icefield Promenade is centred around Columbia Icefield, Athabasca Glacier and Peyto Lake. The stay thus alternates between mountain reliefs, shores and lakes, riverscapes and natural spaces, giving a concrete picture of the destination beyond its only best known site.
