Passage Island Light is located on an isolated island off the coast of Isle Royale, facing the cold open waters of Lake Superior. The lighthouse is as much for its role as a maritime landmark as for the remote impression it gives, between rocks, wind and boreal forest. Limited access makes it a separate visit, linked to boat trips and lake conditions.
