Karosta
Karosta keep the traces of an old naval base, between Orthodox cathedral, military prison, canals, austere buildings and wind-torn wastelands. The neighborhood strikes with its contrasts: monumental and abandoned, sacred and military, facing the sea but separated from the center of the Liepāja.
Praia
Liepāja beach
The beach Liepāja It stretches into a long strip of light sand behind the dunes and the coastal park. The wind is often present, sometimes strong, giving the shore a particular energy; sunsets attract both walkers and late bathers.

The Forts du Nord They are a landscape of broken concrete, collapsed tsarist batteries and blocks gnawed by the Baltic. Their strength comes from this visible instability: erosion gradually swallows the structures, imposing to remain cautious near the ruins and the shore.
