To understand what Nantong is, you must look at the Nantong Museum, Mount Langshan and Old Town of Tangzha. These places give us a view of a territory marked by urban life, riverscapes, heritage and mountain reliefs and allow us to move from emblematic sites to more intimate stages.

Museu
Nantong Museum
Founded by Zhang Jian, this museum is one of the first modern museums in China. Historical buildings and local collections illuminate the city's modernization. Architectural details are better discovered without haste.
Place indismissible
Mount Langshan
The hill of the Loup dominates the Yangzi with its temples and woods to the south of the center. The ascent is short but opens a wide view of river, ports and industrial areas.
Place indismissible
Old Town of Tangzha
Tangzha keeps factories, canals and working quarters linked to textile development of the early 20th century. The sector is less scenographed than the old classical centers and requires a careful walk.
