Gustavia tightens its docks around a horse-drawn iron port where sailboats, rehabilitated warehouses and low houses with red roofs mix. The ancient forts and some traces of the Swedish era give relief to the promenade, especially at the end of the day when the light hangs the hills and the facades of the seafront.

Colombier is won by a coastal path or by boat, which preserves its clear handle at the foot of dry hills.
