To understand what Somiedo and Western Asturias are, you must look at the natural park of Somiedo, Lagos de Saliencia and Polas de Somiedo. Somiedo Natural Park
The Somiedo Nature Park runs as a text in relief: closed valleys, open clearings, and then valley folds where the sounds are silent. An outdoor day gains to be divided into several sequences to follow the luminous contrasts. The height zones offer long views, the areas covered with close details.
