Alanya

Alanya is organized around a fortified peninsula whose castle and Red Tower recall the Seljuk importance. The old port and the promontory districts contrast with the beach fronts of the current resort. The caves of Damlataş and Dim complete this landscape, but are located in two distinct areas, in the city and in the eastern heights.

Castle d'Alanya, Red Tower — Kızıl Kule and Damlataş Cave give the most telling landmarks of Alanya. Together, they form a destination where urban life, the coastline, heritage and natural spaces meet, with atmospheres that change over the stages rather than just one uniform decor.
