Nature and landscape
Brier Island
Brier Island mark the end of Digby Neck, between lighthouses, low cliffs, marshes and waters rich in seabirds. The island is also one of the best starting points of the Bay of Fundy to observe whales and dolphins, with an isolated atmosphere reinforced by successive ferries.

Place indismissible
Balancing Rock
Balancing Rock is a column of basalt placed in equilibrium on the edge of St. Marys Bay, accessible by a trail and a long wooden staircase. The shape surprises as much as the frame: dark cliffs, sea below and frequent silence of Long Island.

Place indismissible
Digby
Digby lives on the edge of Annapolis Basin, facing the waters of Fundy and the ferries that connect Nova Scotia to New Brunswick. The city is known for its scallops, wharves, old houses and sunsets on the Digby Gut, narrow passage to the bay.

Lighthouse and maritime panorama
Phare de Boar's Head
Boar's Head Lighthouse is a white and red tower above the Petit Passage, at the northern tip of Long Island. From Tiverton, the road leads to this maritime landmark surrounded by cliffs, facing the currents that separate Brier Island. The site is mainly for its clear horizon and for the impression that it has reached the end of the Digby Neck Peninsula.
