Lake
Lake Buir
This large freshwater lake extends in the steppe near the Mongolian-China border. Its isolated shores welcome birds, fishermen and seasonal camps accessible by long tracks.
แม่น้ำ
Khalkh River
The river crosses steppes and wetlands near the Chinese and Russian borders. Distances, permits and low services require precise local preparation. Light, wind and season are strongly transforming the landscape.
Place indismissible
Khalkhin Gol Memorial
The memorial recalls the fighting of 1939 between Soviet-Mongol and Japanese forces. The site must be approached as a historic site, not as an isolated attraction. A slow visit allows to go beyond the only points of view best known.
