El Kala

At the north-eastern end of Algeria, El Kala combines a Mediterranean port with a set of protected lakes and forests. Tonga and Oubeira are two distinct freshwater environments, important for birds. The discovery favours observation from the authorised areas and respect for habitats rather than a free crossing of wetlands.
