ภาพรวมทั่วไป
Kortrijk and the Lys Valley
Flemish city accessible and less saturated, with medieval towers, Grand Place, beguinage and escapades along the Lys.
The discovery of Courtrai and Lys Valley is structured around Tours du Broel, Grand-Place and Béguinage. The stay thus alternates between urban life, heritage and riverscapes, which gives a concrete picture of the destination beyond its only best known site.
ดูทั้งหมด
For a stay of 1 to 3 days, a quiet rhythm works well. Also to anticipate: less unavoidable than Antwerp or Ghent and short stay. The trip can be organised without a car if the drop point and local connections are selected in advance. The main sites are generally easy to access.

Fortifications
Towers of the Broel
The Towers of the Broel frame the Lys as two stone sentinels, recalling the defensive role of Courtrai without turning the visit into a history lesson. The bridge, the water and the docks give beautiful angles of view, especially when the light highlights the massive volumes of the towers.
Historic square
Grand-Place de Courtrai
The Grand Place of Courtrai concentrates the energy of the centre, with its facades, its belfry and the terraces that animate the space around. It is a good starting point to feel the city before reaching the Lys, shopping streets or nearby monuments.
Béguinage
Béguinage de Courtrai
The Beguinage de Courtrai offers a peaceful contrast with the more active streets of the centre. Its white houses, narrow passages and inner courtyard make up a small world apart, where one still perceives the community life of the beguines without needing a long journey.
