Kuqa
Ancient Kucha oasis, Buddhist caves and red canyons are located in the northern Tarim basin.
The discovery of Kuqa is based on Kizil Caves, Tianshan Grand Canyon and Kuqa Mosque. The stay thus alternates between urban life, desert areas, heritage and mountain reliefs, giving a concrete picture of the destination beyond its only most famous site.

Kizil keeps Buddhist paintings among the oldest in Central Asia. Only some cavities open in rotation and interior photography is strictly framed. A slow visit allows to go beyond the only points of view that are best known.
