Vieille ville de Salzbourg
Salzburg’s old town brings together narrow streets, Baroque squares, churches and shopfronts beneath the fortress. Its compact layout makes it rewarding to explore, with each turn revealing the city against the surrounding hills.

Hohensalzburg Fortress
The fortress dominates Salzburg and gives the best retreat on the city, the Salzach and the nearby mountains. You can go up there for the views as well as for the historic halls.
Garden
Mirabell Gardens
Mirabell Gardens are located in their geometric gardens opposite Hohensalzburg Fortress, with fountains, statues and easy access routes from the old town. The place is especially valid for this clear composition between flowers, cupolas and mountains, particularly legible in the morning or at the end of the day.
