Whitman Mission
Whitman Mission keeps track of Waiilatpu, a site linked to Marcus and Narcissa Whitman's mission and the tragic tensions with the Cayuses. The site combines open meadows, silhouettes of foundations, memorial on the hill and interpretation center; the visit takes a little time to grasp the views in presence.

Fort Walla Walla Museum
The Fort Walla Walla Museum spreads local history through displaced buildings, agricultural tools, old vehicles and stories of the Northwest Interior Border. The exhibition rooms are moved from open-air structures, making the development of Walla Walla very concrete, between military post, farms, trade routes and wine-growing town.
Nature and landscape
Pioneer Park
Pioneer Park offers a more domestic side of Walla Walla, with large trees, lawns, a pond and an aviary known to the inhabitants. It is a place of breathing in the city, pleasant to observe families, joggers and shadow games rather than to look for a spectacular panorama.

Downtown Walla Walla
The centre of Walla Walla line brick facades, tasting rooms, bookstores, restaurants and small shops around easy-to-go streets. The interest comes from this concentration: within a few blocks, you move from a coffee shop to an urban cellar, then to a table that works the products of the valley.
