Alpine carrefour of historical passes, panoramic trains, high valleys and mineral landscapes of the Gotthard.
Andermatt, Col du Saint-Gothard and Pont du Diable give the most telling landmarks of Andermatt and Gotthard. Together, they form a destination where mountain reliefs, heritage and natural spaces meet, with atmospheres that change over the course of the stages rather than a single uniform decor.

Andermatt lives at the crossing of the Alpine roads, between Gotthard, Oberalp and steep valleys. The village combines old hotels, train stations, chalets and new constructions, with this constant impression of possible departure to a pass, a track, a panoramic train or a mountain path.

At the Col du Saint-Gothard, the road is not only a journey, it becomes a visual frame: steep reliefs, exposed areas and late snow strips make up a very legible geography.
