Cunda, connected to the continent, extends this story into an Aegean archipelago facing Lesbos. This ancient church in the centre of Ayvalık has been restored to become a monumental museum. Its basilical architecture and religious decoration distinguish it from the Taksiyarhis church in Cunda, which houses the Rahmi M. Koç.
