Church of the Assumption, Căușeni and South-East Campaign give the most eloquent landmarks of Căușeni. Together, they form a destination where urban life, heritage and the countryside meet, with atmospheres that change over the course of the stages rather than a single uniform decor.

Căușeni is a small town in the south-east of Moldova whose interest is concentrated around its ancient church, markets and roads to the Nistru. The stage remains quiet, but it allows to approach a Moldova of low hills, agricultural villages and discreet heritage.

The south-east Moldovan countryside around Căușeni alternate fields, vineyards, villages stretched out and small undulations towards Nistru. It accompanies a journey to Purcari or Bender, with simple scenes: carts, wells, enclosed gardens and long roads not frequented.
