Lake Coeur d'Alene stretches its waters between wooded hills, docks, beaches and neighborhoods facing the shore. From the city, the lake is without transition: a walk by the water, cruise, kayak or simple terrace meal with the mountains north of Idaho in the background.

Tubbs Hill
Tubbs Hill forms a wooded peninsula right next to the centre of Heart d'Alene, with paths that run along coves, rocks and views of the lake. The contrast is rare: in a few minutes, shops disappear behind the pine trees and the water returns to the foreground.

Coeur d'Alene Resort
The Heart of Alene Resort occupies one of the most visible corners of the lakefront, between marina, restaurants and cruise departures. Its floating golf course is famous, but the place is especially worth as an urban balcony on the water, convenient to capture the city's holiday atmosphere.

McEuen Park
McEuen Park connects the centre of Coeur d'Alene to the lake and Tubbs Hill through extensive lawns, games, walks and access to the trail. It is a very lively space, useful for a family break or to quickly reach the banks without leaving the heart of the city.
