In Dunnings Spring Park, a short path leads to a clear waterfall that emerges from a wooded relief typical of the Driftless Area. The site is suitable for a cool stop near the Decorah, with soft rocks, walkways and water noise rather than a long hike.

Vesterheim Museum
The Vesterheim Museum tells Norwegian immigration to the United States through displaced homes, painted furniture, costumes, tools, boats and popular arts. In Decorah, where the Scandinavian heritage remains very visible, the museum gives material to family stories, know-how and links between the Iowa Valley and villages in Norway.

Ice Cave Hill Park
